Since 2010, third-generation coffee producer Ulises Nayra has been cultivating coffee in the small town of El Huabo, San Ignacio. By combining his family's historical knowledge of traditional coffee production with modern methods, Ulises has significantly increased the quality of his coffee, reflecting both the unique terroir of El Huabo and his personal dedication to this craft.
The Cajamarca region, located in northern Peru, offers a temperate climate and diverse microclimates that allow cherries to ripen slowly and evenly. With its volcanic and loamy soils, rich in nutrients, combined with natural shade trees, the aromatic complexity and cleanliness of coffees are enhanced. Its ideal combination of altitude, climate, biodiversity, and traditional farming methods makes Cajamarca a leading region for high-quality, traceable coffee, reflecting the dedication and skill of its local producers.
With notes of orange zest, green grapes, dried apricot, and dark chocolate, this coffee boasts a juicy body with bright acidity and a sweet, honeyed finish. Perfect for a pourover.
