Percy Pintado - Geisha

Percy Huaman Pintado is a 3rd-generation coffee producer. He owns five hectares of land in the San Ignacio region (North West of Peru), and works closely with family members to create a strong coffee community that shares farming practices and best practices.

Percy puts extra care into his geisha plants, as cherries are meticulously harvested when perfectly ripe. After being washed, the coffee is dried on a raised bed for 15 days. Thanks to these efforts, his geisha was selected to participate in the 2023 Cup of Excellence. " Rayos del Sol" is the name of the farm. It refers to the light Percy sees on the horizon, which symbolises hope and resilience even in the darkest times.

This coffee offers a floral and fruity cup with notes of jasmine and tangerine.
